Children’s authors really know how to put things into perspective.

Eeyore.  Everyone knows Winnie the Pooh’s gloomy, glass-half-empty friend.

Oh, bother.

He’s such a contrast to always-bouncing Tigger.

“I’m so happy I could BOUNCE!”

It’s not about being deliriously happy every moment, but being positive and content.  Not content and allowing complacency, but loving what you have – physically, spiritually, emotionally.  If you are not happy where you are, you cannot possibly expect to be happy in another location, with another person, at another job, or whatever the case may be.  Happiness comes from within.  You can decide…

Will you be an Eeyore or a Tigger?

Anne Frank was in a position of oppression, the most bleak situation with seemingly no hope…  but quotes and entries from her diary shared with the world her steadfastness in hope and seeing the positive in life.  That is truly an inspiration.  If she could maintain that mindset, we certainly can.  We can, and we will.
